In this workshop, you’ll get the chance to make your very own one-of-a-kind upcycled tote bag from scratch using old garments and off-cuts. Choose between 2 different styles of tote bag making.

1. From paper patterns using scrap fabrics.
2. From preloved/sample pants. 

This workshop is ideal for participants who are keen on exploring ways to repurpose unwanted garments into something new!

Workshop includes:

• Introduction to basic sewing & finishing
• In-depth guide of how to efficiently utilise upcycled materials into new unique products
• Introduction to different ways of embellishing and personalising your tote
  (eg. heat transfer print, sashiko stitching, trimmings, etc)
• All neccessary materials and tools will be provided
  (You can bring your own clothes to be used too!)
  

Immerse in this 3 hour hands-on experience, conducted every Monday at 3 different time slots in our cozy Wheelock Store!
