Designer Notes

We wanted the fabric to do the talking here, sun-dried cotton has a natural texture and depth you can’t fake. Then we shaped it into a cocoon form with bubble sleeves to give presence without feeling heavy. The cord-loop placket is our nod to tradition, finished with corozo buttons so it wears like an everyday staple, not a costume detail.

Crafted from 100% sun-dried cotton, this fabric is naturally finished through exposure to sun and wind, giving it a tactile surface and a deeper, lived-in hue. Soft on the skin yet breathable, it stays comfortable even in warm, balmy weather.

Cut in a sculptural cocoon silhouette, the blouse balances volume with control through elasticated bubble sleeves and a gently tapered hem. Down the centre, Chinese-inspired cord loops add an oriental nuance—reinterpreted with durable corozo buttons for a cleaner, more functional finish. Grounded in texture and proportion, this piece brings depth to everyday wear.
